High School Fleet (Haisukuru Furito), also known as Haifuri before the first episode, is a Japanese anime television series produced by Production IMS. To preserve Japan’s territories, Coastal Cities sprung up, becoming Marine Cities, and along with the expansion of sea-lanes to connect them, the need arose for a sizable staff to protect the seas. The story follows a girl named Akeno Misaki who enrolls at Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School in order to become one of the highly regarded Blue Mermaids.
